The place for your morning coffee, to read the newspapers or to enjoy an afternoon happy-hour with fellow residents, the lounge is the central hub of activity in most villages.

The lounge provides space for large gatherings and often quieter, more intimate spaces where you can enjoy a good book or a chat with a friend. Lounges are typically located adjacent to the reception area and close to the dining room.

Some villages have one large spacious area plus separate smaller lounges or sitting rooms.
 
Décor is often themed to the type of village, be it city chic or coastal resort casual. Some lounges even incorporate a cinema to provide residents with a full entertainment experience.
