Village Member

Whether the village is a large corporate listed company, church and charitable/ not for profit or an independent operator, membership is available to all village managers, representatives and staff associated with the particular village.

Once a village becomes a member of the RVA, they are assigned a provisional status. Within three years of joining the RVA, the village is encouraged at any time to apply for and become an accredited member.  An RVA provisional member must be undertaking accreditation in a three year period in order to become a full member.

One of the most valuable benefits of joining the RVA is that the village has immediate access to one of our regional coordinators, as well as national office staff. Our coordinators are available at any time to answer questions, provide advice, guidance and support to any staff associated with a member village.

Today it is as important as ever for retirement villages to stay connected to the industry that supports their growth and ensure they are kept informed of the latest news, issues and training in the industry.

Networking at the numerous RVA event and development sessions is a key benefit of membership.  The topics and presentations at all conferences are catered specifically for village managers and staff. Topics range from how to prepare village budgets to accreditation to strategies on how to get more residents in your village.

Let the RVA show you how we can work with you to promote and assist your village and become a member today.
