Retirement Resort Manager
Waterbrook Lifestyle Resorts have a strong involvement in property development and construction, property management, hospitality and retirement village ownership and operation.
We seek to recruit an energetic, motivated and positive General Manager to drive the business and build community relationships at our flagship property at Yowie Bay.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will provide guidance and direction to the existing team in the delivery of services to residents. Administration responsibilities, budgeting, financial management, maintenance control and overseeing property resales are key responsibilities. The Manager must be capable of achieving a balance between commercial focus and the environment and needs of the residents.
This is a hands on role and applicants must be professional, profit centre administrators with management experience in the hospitality industry. Retirement industry experience will be viewed favourably, however, is not essential. The ability to provide leadership and create a cohesive team atmosphere is essential whilst recognising your involvement as part of the larger corporation. We need a self starter who will treat the operation as their own business, supervising the progress of ongoing development and maintaining a caring environment for our residents. Exposure to accounting and spreadsheet software applications is desirable.
The remuneration package will be structured to attract and retain a leading performer.
Please forward your resume to Liane Dobler in strictest confidence at lianedobler@waterbrook.com.au
Applications close 31st July 2010.
